We added content, designed a new look and reorganized to help you better interact with what interests you most in Food. Here's some of what's new today:

On the Menu

First Bite: Anchoring our new restaurant-focused page is an expanded presence by food critic Tom Sietsema, who every week is writing his initial impressions of a just-opened place in this new column. He will continue to keep readers informed of restaurant news in Dish.

Good to Go replaces Foraging with a new focus on takeout spots.

Drink

Wine: Our new beverages page features the debut column by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen Page, award-winning authors who bring a fresh voice to the topic by focusing on how best to enjoy wine: with food.

Spirits and Beer: A new column by Jason Wilson looks at the burgeoning popularity of hard liquor and cocktails; it will alternate with Greg Kitsock's Beer column, which will increase in frequency from monthly to every other week.

Recipes

For easier clipping, we've gathered all the recipes that accompany cover stories and put them on one page. And we've redesigned the recipes themselves to make them more readable and usable.
