I've heard of the graying of America. I was surprised, however, at a quote in "The Talk" [Washington Monday, March 26] attributed to Bud Cummins, a former U.S. attorney in Little Rock, that read, in part: "It looks like that authority was delegated . . . all the way down to a bunch of 35-year-old kids."

Thirty-five-year-old kids? I was unaware that our youth included those so long in the tooth.
