LAND

* Take the grandkids to the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Md., about 90 miles east of the District, and save up to 40 percent. The Grandparents Getaway Package includes accommodations for up to two adults and three children in one room, breakfast and a keepsake picture frame. Rates vary by season. AIR

* JetBlue has sale fares from Washington Dulles to Boston, New York, Las Vegas, three cities in California and two in Florida. For example, fare to Boston or New York is about $99 round trip with taxes; fare to Orlando is $139 round trip. Purchase by April 20. Other restrictions vary by city: For New York and Boston, travel Monday-Thursday and Saturday between April 23 and June 19, with blackout dates of May 23-30. * ATA has launched a sale from Reagan National to several destinations, including Chicago and Houston. Fare to Chicago's Midway airport is $99 round trip with taxes; to Houston's Hobby airport, pay $198 round trip. PACKAGES

* American Express will launch its third annual Going Once travel auction beginning April 17. Each weekday through April 27, it will auction off a fixed number of a luxury travel packages, with the price dropping every 20 minutes. The first trip, with 30 available, is a seven-night package to the Raffles Resort on Canouan Island in the Caribbean. The package, with a starting bid of $7,740 per couple, includes round-trip air from Washington to Barbados, flight between Barbados and Canouan Island, ground transfers and $300 resort credit. (Do your homework and price out the package components before bidding: The Canouan Island package, for example, is a deal only if you get it for less than $7,400). Other auction destinations include Hong Kong, Antarctica and Orlando. Last year, savings varied by package. For example, a Paris trip started at $5,580 per couple and sold out at $3,858. * European Destinations has a package deal to the Greek Islands for travel in May. The Best of Greece deal to Athens, Paros Island, Santorini Island and Crete starts at about $1,355 per person double and includes round-trip air from Washington Dulles to Athens, with return from Heraklion; eight nights' hotel in four different locations; and hydrofoil transportation between destinations.
