Q&A: Colombian President Alvaro Uribe

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe met with reporters and editors of The Washington Post on Friday, May 4, 2007, near the end of a three-day visit to Washington. Uribe, who has faced growing skepticism amid a scandal over his alleged ties to paramilitary groups, spent his visit lobbying congressional leaders for support of a free trade agreement and Plan Colombia.
