One smart blog, Lifehack.org, offers "pointers on productivity" with plenty of kick-in-the-pants perspectives. It's edited by Leon Ho, an Australian techie who manages software engineers by day.
A new posting offers 50 tips for punching up productivity that remind us of the value of using a to-do list and getting up early to get going while the home or office is quiet. It also advocates eliminating time-wasters such as IM, Flickr and television. Posts come from organizing and motivational experts around the globe on topics such as "7 Ways to Get Down to Writing."
The advice worked for me. It gave me the boost to finish this item without missing my deadline.
