G Mark White

St. Stephen's/St. Agnes Sr.

White led the Saints to a berth in the IAC tournament final and the Virginia private schools state championship. He saved 71 percent of shots on goal. Will play for Maryland.

D Michael White

St. Stephen's/St. Agnes Sr.

White was the primary defender on a defense that allowed fewer than four goals per game. He had 28 groundballs, 2 goals and 1 assist. Will play for Maryland.

D Matt Kawamoto

West Springfield Sr.

Kawamoto was considered one of the best players in Virginia. He had 85 groundballs, 5 goals and 2 assists in 13 games. Will play for Ohio State.

D Bray Malphrus

Georgetown Prep Sr.

Despite an early-season back injury, Malphrus was still one of the area's top talents. The repeat All-Met finished with 114 groundballs. Will play for Virginia.

D Ian Crumley

St. Albans Sr.

Crumley notched 75 groundballs and four goals on a stellar defense that led the Bulldogs to a share of the IAC title. Will play for Navy Prep.

M Rhett De Pol

St. Mary's-Annapolis Sr.

De Pol is a big midfielder with outstanding stick skills who scored 24 goals and added 16 assists in St. Mary's playoff season. Will play for Navy Prep.

M Brian Tabb

Georgetown Prep Sr.

Tabb was the best faceoff man in the area, winning 72 percent and leading the Little Hoyas with 127 groundballs. Will play for Georgetown.

M Nick Elsmo

Severn Sr.

Elsmo's strong frame allowed the repeat All-Met to notch 36 goals and 21 assists and win 62 percent of his faceoffs despite consistent double-teams. Will play for Virginia.

A Zach Angel

St. Mary's Ryken Jr.

Angel racked up 44 goals and 75 assists this season for the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champion Knights. Will play for Duke or Georgetown.

A Matt Kugler

Robinson Sr.

Kugler was regarded by many as Virginia's top player, notching 43 goals and 48 assists. Will play for Virginia after one year of prep school.

A Eric Lusby

Severna Park Sr.

Lusby helped Falcons to their second straight 4A/3A state title, scoring 63 goals and adding 29 assists in a high-powered offense. Will play for Loyola.
