Endorsement Watch

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa (D) will endorse Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) today at a rally at the University of California at Los Angeles. Villaraigosa, a Latino, is an influential politician in California, which recently moved its primary to Feb. 5, giving it added importance in the nominating process.

Calendar Update

Georgia and Alaska joined the growing list of states pushing up their presidential primary voting to Feb. 5, joining at least two dozen other states planning to hold their primary that day.
