Player of the Year

Drew Courtney, Robinson, Jr.

The two-time All-Met and defending state champion won his second straight Northern Region title and also was on the region champion doubles team. He is ranked 37th nationally by the U.S. Tennis Association in the boys' 18 standings. Committed to Virginia in 2009.

Coach of the Year

Paul Fisher, Robinson

Fisher, whose team won the 2006 state championship and repeated as Northern Region champ this season, is a recent recipient of a national high school tennis coach of the year award from the Professional Tennis Registry.

First Team

Sidarth Balaji, Fairfax, Soph.

The region runner-up split regular-season matches with Courtney and was on the runner-up region doubles team.

Jordan Dyke, T.C. Williams, Jr.

The third-place finisher in the Northern Region went unbeaten in Patriot District play.

Matt Feeley, Potomac School, Jr.

The Ben Johns Invitational singles runner-up finished 18-3.

Jonathan Pine, Flint Hill, Jr.

The Huskies' No. 2 player is unbeaten in three years of high school tennis.

Zach Pine, Flint Hill, Jr.

Jonathan's twin went 14-3 at No. 1 and led the team to its second straight independent school Division I title.
