Gymnast of the Year

Blake, Jr.
Captured the county all-around title (37.075) for the third year in a row, in a meet highlighted by an impressive 9.85 vault. The following week, she captured the Maryland state all-around crown (37.8) for the third straight season and added individual state titles on beam and vault.
Coach of the Year

Bethesda-Chevy Chase
Guided the Barons to an undefeated regular season, their first county championship since 2004 and a first-place finish at the state championships. At the county title meet, no B-CC gymnast finished higher than 10th all-around, but consistent solid scoring gave the Barons a half-point victory.
First Team
Elizabeth Bofill, Sherwood, Fr.-- Won the balance beam title at the county championships (9.2) and took third on beam at the state title meet (9.4). Also finished 10th on bars at the state meet.
Claire Miller, Walter Johnson, Jr.-- Won the uneven bars title at the state championships (9.3) and finished third in the all-around (36.80) as the Wildcats placed second.
Laura Treacy, Blake, Fr.-- Finished third in the all-around at the county championships (36.45) and took fifth all-around at the state meet.
Ebony Walters, B-CC, Fr.-- Instrumental in helping B-CC win its first county championship since 2000. The following week she finished fourth in the all-around as the Barons won the state team title.
Nicole Williams, Blake, Soph.-- County champion on bars (9.25) and floor exercise (9.4), Williams also finished second in the all-around at the county championships and second at the state meet (37.075).
