Spinning Wheels
Watch Olympic medalist Bobby Julich and other world-class professional cyclists speed through Arlington's Clarendon neighborhood Saturday morning in the 10th annual CSC Invitational, taking 100 laps around a 1K course. Proceeds benefit Paralyzed Veterans of America. Viewing is free. Registration is still open for racers in two amateur events.

Sample the finest products of Virginia vineyards and listen to music on three stages by the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Soulive, Jon Cleary and other bands at the 26th annual Vintage Virginia wine festival Saturday and Sunday at Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville. More than 50 wineries will offer their best and conduct seminars on wine tasting and wine selection, and more than 100 vendors will show their arts and crafts. Singin' in the Glen

Go Play in the Street
Local musicians, dance troupes and other entertainers take to the streets at the 13th annual Imagination Bethesda children's festival Saturday outdoors in downtown Bethesda. The Joy of Motion Dance Center, Tappers With Attitudes, Los Quetzales and other groups will perform all day, and strolling balloon artists, jugglers and face painters will mingle with the crowds. Adventure Theatre, Imagination Stage, Round House Theatre, Strathmore and other organizations will host exhibits and interactive workshops. Admission is free.

Three divorced women in a New England village cast spells to make their dream man show up -- and he does -- in "The Witches of Eastwick," the musical comedy adapted from the novel and the film, opening Tuesday at Signature Theatre in its first American production after a smash run in London. Balanchine by Farrell
The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, founded by George Balanchine's star ballerina, dances some of his masterworks and an excerpt from Maurice Bejart's 1966 "Romeo and Juliet" in two programs opening Wednesday at the Kennedy Center.
