Pork belly is a luscious indulgence, richly marbled with fat that can overwhelm any palate in a heavy preparation. Bangkok 54's Crispy Pork Belly With Chili-Basil ($5.95 lunch, $9.95 dinner) balances strips of soft, velvety pork with the satisfying snap of a crispy skin. Served with rice and a light, spicy blend of garlic, oyster sauce and Thai chili sauce, the pork is stir-fried with onions and bell peppers and topped with delicately fried basil leaves.
