A Clinton woman was killed early yesterday after the car she was driving was struck by a car going the wrong way on Route 5 near Earnshaw Drive in southern Prince George's County.
Maryland State Police said Faith A. Magruder, 37, was driving south in a 2003 Chrysler Sebring convertible about 4:30 a.m. when her car was struck by a 2003 Acura moving at a high speed northbound in the southbound lanes.
The Acura's driver, Charles Edward Crosby, 25, of Temple Hills, was injured and taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. A passenger, Vernice Wingate, 26, was also taken to a hospital. State police Sgt. Jeffrey Stevenson said the incident is under investigation.

Pedestrian Killed in Pr. George's
A pedestrian was struck and killed in Prince George's County late Saturday.
According to police, the man was wearing no clothing and had no identification when he was hit at Route 210 and East Swan Creek Road in Fort Washington. Police are investigating the incident.

17-Year-Old Shot in Face at Party
A 17-year-old was shot in the face at a house party in New Carrollton on Saturday night. Police said witnesses reported there were about 200 people at the party in the 6600 block of Adrian Street when a fight broke out.
