The New Fees for Traffic Tickets

Starting July 1, Virginians who are ticketed for misdemeanor or felony traffic offenses must pay a new fee in addition to existing fines. Out-of-state residents do not have to pay the fees. Below are some examples of the fines that courts usually impose and the mandatory fees the state will add.
