ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins fans will have only a few opportunities to see their team at training camp this year.

The team announced Thursday that players will report and camp will open July 27 at Redskins Park. But like last year, only eight sessions will be open to the public, the last on Aug 8. Coach Joe Gibbs, known for his secrecy, is reluctant to let outsiders watch his team practice.

The Redskins will also scrimmage the Ravens in Baltimore on Aug 4.

Admission to training camp practices is free, but the team wants fans to print their own tickets from the team's Web site, www.redskins.com, so that it can gauge how many people to expect on a given day.

The first preseason game is Aug. 11 at Tennessee.
