No. 17

PAR 4 {vbar} 437 YARDS

Scoring Average:4.11

K.J. Choi, who had a two-shot lead on Steve Stricker entering No. 17, put an exclamation mark on his victory in unlikely fashion. After dumping his 5-iron second shot in the right bunker, Choi blasted out of the sand, and the ball landed softly and rolled into the hole. "All this week, I had a good feel for my bunker shots," Choi said through an interpreter. "I wasn't trying to put it in the hole. All I was trying to do was save par." After the ball dropped, Choi walked onto the green, removed his visor and took a bow before the roaring crowd.
