Top draft pick Greg Oden needs to have his tonsils removed and is expected to miss the rest of the Trail Blazers' summer league games.

Oden will undergo a tonsillectomy Saturday at the Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Wash., the team said yesterday.

Recovery time is expected to be two to three weeks.

· WALKER ROBBED: Heat F Antoine Walker's home in Chicago was robbed Monday, the player's agent said.

Police and witnesses said two offenders held Walker and at least one other person at gunpoint during the robbery. A vehicle, cash and jewelry were reported stolen and there were no injuries, Chicago police said.

· BREWER SIGNS: The Timberwolves signed Corey Brewer, the seventh overall pick in last month's draft. The 6-foot-9 forward from Florida received a two-year deal worth $4.4 million, with team options for two more years.
