Gannett Names President of Broadcasting

Gannett of McLean named Dave Lougee president of its broadcasting division, effective Monday. Lougee, 49, replaces Roger Ogden, 62, who retired July 1. Lougee, a former executive vice president of media operations for Belo, was in charge of Belo's 19 television stations and four cable news operations in Texas. He joined Belo in 1998 and became president and general manager of Belo's television and cable operations in Seattle in 2000.
