The Blue and the Gray
Step back in time Saturday and Sunday at the annual Civil War Weekend at Sully Historic Site in Chantilly, which was visited by both Confederate and Union troops in 1861 and 1862. Reenactors will conduct skirmishes with cavalry and artillery, costumed interpreters will portray daily life of the era and there will be traditional games, music and a 19th-century fashion show. Admission is $6, seniors and children $4, and includes a guided tour of the 1794 home of Richard Bland Lee, uncle of Robert E. Lee.

Love Triumphs
The Wolf Trap Opera Company concludes its season with "The Magic Flute" Friday and Saturday in the Filene Center. In Mozart's comic tale, young Prince Tamino and his sidekick, Papageno, brave mystical ordeals to rescue Princess Pamina from the evil Monostatos. It will be sung in German with projected English translations. Tickets cost $36 to $58 in-house, $8 on the lawn.
