BWI and National Lauded For Easy Airport Access

Reagan National Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport have been ranked among the easiest U.S. airports to get to by Aviation.com. National was second and BWI 10th on the Web site's list. The site noted that National passengers can take the Metro directly to terminals B and C. It said that BWI has a free shuttle that takes passengers to the BWI Rail Station, where they can catch the MARC train to Baltimore or the District.

Rocking Chairs Placed In Observation Gallery

BWI has placed 25 wooden Carolina Rockers in the observation gallery between concourses B and C on the upper level. The chairs were installed to give travelers a place to sit and relax before their flights.

Business Seminar Nov. 16 At Omni Shoreham in D.C.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is hosting a business opportunity seminar Nov. 16. Women, minorities and small-business owners are encouraged to attend. The free seminar is at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert St., Washington.

Delta to End of Nonstops From Melbourne, Fla.

Delta Air Lines has announced it will end nonstop service from Florida's Melbourne International Airport to National. Airline officials said the last flight will be Sept. 6.
