Health Tip: Weather Can Affect Asthma

(HealthDay News) -- Asthma symptoms can be exacerbated by a variety of triggers, including exercise. Attacks also may be brought on by certain types of weather.

Here, courtesy of the Nemours Foundation, is a list of different types of weather that have been linked to asthma:

Cold, dry winter air.Windy weather that stirs up pollen and other irritants.Hot and humid air.Thunderstorms, possibly because of wind or changes in barometric pressure.
