The Redskins got to the Eagles 1-yard line with 14 seconds left before halftime, but a delay of game and two false starts moved them back to the 16. The extra field, however, allowed tight end Chris Cooley to run an out pattern in the end zone and catch a touchdown pass. Cooley beat safety Brian Dawkins on the play. Earlier, the Eagles drove to the Washington 7 but had to settle for David Akers's 24-yard field goal when McNabb had an incompletion on third and four. The Eagles later got the ball at the Redskins 39 after James intercepted Campbell with just under 10 minutes to play. The Redskins held and forced another Akers field goal, this one from 39 yards.
