POLLARD TERR.,1800 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 27. A man arrived home and saw a stranger driving his 2004 Land Rover from the driveway to a parking space across the street. The stranger then went inside his home. A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with burglary and grand theft.

LEESBURG PIKE,8300 block, 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 2. Tires of five cars behind a shopping center were slashed.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

JANNA LEE AVE.,7900 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 29. A man allegedly touched a female teenager inappropriately while she was with friends at a birthday party. The teenager ran and told her mother, who called police. A man was arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.

ASSAULTS

FRYE ROAD AND RICHMOND HIGHWAY,11 p.m. Oct. 2. Two men walked up to a 25-year-old man as he left a store. One man asked him for money and began searching his pockets. The men then punched him in the face, pushed him down and fled, taking nothing. No serious injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

AUDUBON AVE.,3400 block, 1 a.m. Sept. 28. A man reached into a pocket of a 24-year-old female pedestrian's sweatshirt and fled without taking anything. The man returned a short time later with a knife and demanded cash from the woman. He took cash from her pocket and fled. No injuries were reported.

JANNA LEE AND TAMARIND STREET,2:45 p.m. Oct. 2. A man struck a male with a

baseball bat, and another man punched

him. They then took his cash and fled. The male was treated at Inova Mount Vernon

Hospital.

HUNTERS WOODS PLAZA,2300 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 30. A 32-year-old man on a bicycle passed a group of three males and a female on a path, and one pushed him against a utility box. The males, armed with sticks, robbed the bicyclist of his cellphone. The bicyclist obtained a stick of his own, and they fled.

CHESTNUT GROVE SQ.,11200 block. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.

LINKS DR.,11500 block. An EZ-pass and a bag were stolen from a vehicle.

RALEIGH HILL RD.,1700 block. An iPod was stolen from a residence.

TWISTED OAK DR.,1500 block. A watch was stolen from a vehicle.

TOTTENHAM CT.,1200 block. A 2000 Lexus was stolen.

TOTTENHAM CT.,1200 block, Sept. 27. A Lexus RX300 was stolen. Police located the vehicle in the 1500 block of Cameron Crescent Drive. Several men were seen near the vehicle. They fled, and officers captured two 20-year-old Reston men and charged them with grand theft and possession of stolen property.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

CHAIN BRIDGE RD.,3900 block, Sept. 19. A 19-year-old female restaurant employee alleged that an acquaintance of the business's owners provided her with alcohol and sexually assaulted her. A 34-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with aggravated sexual battery, animate object penetration, possessing alcohol in a restaurant without a license and providing alcohol to an underage person.

ASSAULTS

OLD LEE HWY.,3900 block, 1 p.m. Sept. 29. A woman reportedly took cash from a customer in a restaurant. When the customer confronted her, she allegedly bit him on the hand and fled on foot. A short time later, a police officer on patrol allegedly observed the woman stealing a shirt and sunglasses from a car in a parking lot. A 39-year-old woman of no fixed address was charged with assault and theft.

ROBBERIES

MAIN ST.,9400 block, 11:23 a.m. Sept. 27. Three men demanded at gunpoint to be shown video systems in a store. They took several systems and fled in a vehicle being driven by a fourth man. No injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FAIRFAX BLVD.,9400 block, 3 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1. A child's bicycle was stolen from a porch of a residence.

FAIRFAX BLVD.,9500 block, 6:20 p.m. Sept. 24. Two males stole a Global Positioning System device from a store.

FAIRFAX BLVD.,9800 block, 6:17 a.m. Oct. 2. The manager of a motel observed a man stealing a toolbox from his vehicle. An investigation led to the arrest of a man at a nearby motel. A 28-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with grand theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

LEE HWY.,11100 block, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27. Gas was stolen from a service station.

MAIN ST.,9600 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 29 to 7 a.m. Oct. 2. Tools were stolen from two company vehicles parked at a business. Most of the tools were returned and placed at the rear door of the business.

MAIN ST.,9600 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29. A credit card and a debit card were stolen from a purse in a restaurant.

VANDALISM

EATON PL.,3900 block, 2 to 5:20 p.m. Oct. 2. Four tires of a vehicle parked at a business were cut.

FAIRFAX BLVD.,10700 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 27 to 7 p.m. Sept. 29. Graffiti was spray-painted on a rear wall of a business.

FAIRFAX BLVD.,9500 block, Sept. 30. Two windows of a gas station were broken.

FAIRFAX SQ.,9900 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to 7 a.m. Sept. 28. The windshield of a vehicle was smashed.

WEST DR.,10700 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 28 to 9 a.m. Sept. 29. A tire of a vehicle in front of a residence was punctured.

ELLISON ST.,900 block, 6:51 p.m. Oct. 1. A man shot a person several times with a BB gun. The man reportedly refused medical attention. An 18-year-old Falls Church man was charged with assault.

RILEY ST.,300 block, 3:09 p.m. Sept. 25. A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked shed in the back yard of a residence.

ROOSEVELT BLVD.,400 block, Sept. 11 to Sept. 21. A quilted jacket, five picture frames and a sun visor were stolen from a vehicle at an auto body shop.

SHERROW AVE.,400 block, 8 a.m. Sept. 28 to 5 p.m. Sept. 29. A protest sign was stolen.

WILSON BLVD.,6700 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23. A purse containing a wallet, a business card holder, cash, makeup, a credit card, a debit card and a driver's license was stolen.

VANDALISM

HAYCOCK RD.,100 block, Aug. 21 to Sept. 28. The side of a 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXI was damaged.

HILLWOOD AVE.,800 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 30 to 7:10 a.m. Oct. 1. The driver's side window of a 2001 Honda Civic was smashed.

WEST ST. S.,200 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 30 to 1:16 a.m. Oct. 1. The driver's side windows of a 2007 Volkswagen, a 2007 Chevrolet and a 2004 Ford F-150 were smashed.

CARLISLE DR.,600 block, 4:41 p.m. Sept. 25. A man took copper from an air conditioning compressor that was to be installed at an office building, damaging the unit. A 37-year-old Warrenton man was charged with felonious destruction of property and attempted grand theft.

CENTER ST.,700 block, 11 to 11:25 a.m. Sept. 29. A bicycle in front of a business was stolen.

ELDEN ST.,200 block, 7:15 p.m. Sept. 29. Cash was stolen from a purse.
