Boundary-Study Meetings
Boundary study is the focus of upcoming meetings.
The meeting for attendance areas for Chantilly, Forestdale and Springfield Estates elementary schools and the boundary study for Chantilly, Herndon, Oakton, South Lakes, and Westfield high schools will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Chantilly High School, 4201 Stringfellow Rd.; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Westfield High School, 4700 Stonecroft Blvd., Chantilly; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at Oakton High School, 2900 Sutton Rd.
The meeting for attendance areas for Forestdale and Springfield Estates elementary schools will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Forestdale Elementary School, 6530 Elder Ave., Springfield.

Managing Money for TeensNavy Federal Credit Union volunteers will present an interactive workshop for teens that teaches them how to manage personal finances at 7:45 and 9:45 a.m. today and tomorrow at Edison Academy, 5801 Franconia Rd., Alexandria.

Special Education FairA resource fair and information event for special education students will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Falls Church High School, 7521 Jaguar Trail. The fair, with more than 40 vendors and agencies, will run from 10 a.m. to noon.
The fair is designed to help parents plan for the future of their children, who will require support to live and work independently after they graduate from high school.
A panel of a graduates, parents, and professionals will provide accounts of their experiences accessing services and community resources.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m., followed by a one-hour orientation.
Parking will be in the rear parking lot; use Entrance 7 or 10.

Student to Space OlympicsRobinson Secondary School senior Stephanie D'Souza is one of five students from Virginia selected to represent the United States at the 2007 International Space Olympics, running through Oct. 28 in Korolev, Russia.
D'Souza will have the opportunity to talk to scientists and cosmonauts, and to interact with students from Russia and other countries.
