Below are the latest reading and math passing, or "cut," scores for the D.C. Comprehensive Assessment System and the Virginia Standards of Learning exams. School officials say their cut scores might differ by one or two points this school year. Maryland declined to release its cut scores.

Grade 10: 31 out of 60 (52%)

District: Reading

Grade 3: 40 out of 54 (74%)

Grade 4: 36 out of 54 (67%)
