A New High

Sean Taylor's first-quarter interception of Kurt Warner gave the Redskins safety five interceptions before the season's midway point. The interception came when Warner badly overthrew Anquan Boldin over the middle, and the ball landed in Taylor's arms. Taylor's previous single-season high for interceptions was four in 2004, his rookie season.

The Cardinals set up their second-quarter touchdown with an interception by linebacker Calvin Pace. But Pace was able to secure the interception thanks to a heady play by defensive end Bertrand Berry, who batted Jason Campbell's pass near the line of scrimmage. The ball caromed right to Pace, who returned it 14 yards to the Redskins 23.

"That's no class."

Cardinals Coach Ken Whisenhunt, yelling on the field to no one in particular after Redskins CB Carlos Rogers bumped PK Neil Rackers on a blocked extra-point attempt just before halftime. Rogers and Rackers were called for offsetting penalties for grabbing each other's face masks.
