Martin's O'Malleyism

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Regarding the Oct. 2 front-page article "O'Malley to Push for Truce on Slots":

If Gov. Martin O'Malley really said, in reference to the endless debate over legalizing slot machines in Maryland, "We have beaten this dead horse into a coma," then a post-gubernatorial career in standup comedy is a distinct possibility. Even the legendary Yogi Berra would be envious, and if Sam Goldwyn were alive, he would be turning in his grave.
