Time Off

The Rockies had eight days off between the NLCS and tonight's Game 1 -- the longest such break in history. Game 1 starter Jeff Francis however, hasn't pitched in 12 days.

On the Roster

Aaron Cook, who hasn't pitched for the Rockies since Aug. 10, will start Game 4.

Off the Roster

Tim Wakefield, who won 17 games for the Red Sox during the regular season, was removed from the roster because of injury.

Unbeatable Beckett

Boston's Game 1 starter Josh Beckett is 3-0 with a 1.17 ERA this postseason.
