These are some of the events scheduled this weekend to honor the service and sacrifice of America's veterans:
¿ The American Legion Auxiliary's "D.C. at the Wall Healing Field" will display 1,000 three-by-five-foot U.S. flags in rows on eight-foot staffs on the Washington Monument grounds near 15th Street and Constitution Avenue NW.
