Red Zone Issues

Washington was forced to settle for two short second-half field goals after unsuccessful running plays inside the Philadelphia 10-yard line. In the third quarter, Mike Sellers was stopped on third and one from the 5-yard line. In the fourth quarter, Clinton Portis gained four yards on a draw play on third and goal from the 7.

By the Numbers

11

Season-high penalties the Redskins committed yesterday. The previous high was during a Week 7 loss to the Packers, when Washington was called for seven penalties.

Back on Track

After failing to reach 100 yards in his first seven games, Clinton Portis surpassed the mark for the second game in a row. The running back hadn't reached 100 yards in consecutive games since he closed the 2005 regular season with five straight 100-yard games.
