On first down, Ladell Betts carried for 11 yards, and three plays later the Redskins got a critical 10-yard completion on third down and eight to keep the drive going. Washington moved to the 13, but on third down and seven, Campbell was sacked for a seven-yard loss. The Redskins got a 38-yard field goal by Shaun Suisham to cut the margin to 19-13 with 11 minutes 19 seconds to play. Washington mounted a proficient final drive, moving from its 7 to the Bucs 16.
