The Redskins had two turnovers, both of which led to scores. First, wide receiver Santana Moss fumbled after catching a short pass from Jason Campbell. The Buccaneers took over at the Redskins 19, and running back Earnest Graham ran three straight times, finishing off the possession with a one-yard touchdown plunge. Then Clinton Portis had the ball dislodged when defensive end Greg White punched it out from behind, giving Tampa Bay possession at the Redskins 19. But the Buccaneers, playing without starting quarterback Jeff Garcia who left the game during the first series with a lower back injury, managed just a 35-yard field goal from Matt Bryant.
