Going Overboard on Sean Taylor
Thursday, November 29, 2007; Page A24
We were appalled to see so much of the Nov. 28 Post devoted to the death of Sean Taylor. Granted, the death of any young man at the height of his career is tragic, but your coverage is emotionally over the top. This young man, who played professional football and obviously made a very great deal of money, is now mourned as if he were a tragic hero. How dare you give such lavish coverage to a football player at the expense of all those military heroes serving or who have died serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
