FUEL EFFICIENCY
The new standard would be 35 miles a gallon, to be met by 2020.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Electric utilities would be required to use renewable energy sources for at least 15 percent of their power generation.
TAXES
A $21.5 billion package of tax incentives would be offset in part by rolling back $13 billion in oil and gas firm subsidies.
STANDARDS
The traditional incandescent light bulb would be phased out by the middle of the next decade.
RENEWABLE FUELS
An increase in the use of ethanol, to 36 billion gallons a year by 2022, would be required.
