Windy Start
Giants Stadium is known for its swirling, unpredictable winds, and last night was no exception. As Redskins place kicker Shaun Suisham set the ball on the tee for the opening kickoff, the ball blew away. After the ball blew off the tee again, reserve cornerback Leigh Torrence had to hold it in place for the kickoff.
Fashion PlateLast night's chilly temperatures led several Redskins to break out the full complement of cold-weather accessories. Not surprisingly, cornerback Fred Smoot was the most fashion-forward, showcasing an ensemble that included a burgundy undershirt, burgundy gloves, burgundy leggings and burgundy cleats wrapped in burgundy tape.
