Color of Money Military Challenge

Sunday, December 23, 2007

Are you serving in the military at home or abroad and struggling with your finances? Has serving overseas wreaked havoc on your financial life?

The 2008 Color of Money Challenge will focus on personnel in all branches of the military who want to change how they handle their money. Over the next year, Michelle Singletary will follow select military families whose New Year's resolution is to get financially fit.

Write to her and tell her your financial story. This is your opportunity to finally address your lack of savings or a problem with overspending or your debt load. But please realize that you will have to share personal financial information.

Send an e-mail with your resolution for the New Year to colorofmoney@washpost.com. You don't have to live in the D.C. metro area. Put "Color of Money Military Challenge" in the subject line. Include your name, address, and daytime and evening telephone numbers.
