Fickle Weather
The weather forecast called for nothing but rain, and the early morning hours delivered. Fans began tailgating in a driving wind that knocked over metal barriers and whipped flags, and rain fell steadily as poncho vendors did brisk business. But not long before kickoff the sun emerged, and much of the first half was played in bright sunlight.
Blinded by the LightSeveral prominent Redskins have spent the season wearing shoes with neon yellow highlights, but yesterday they had serious competition in the neon category. The entire Seahawks offensive line and much of the defense came out in black-and-neon- green cleats; several defenders also sported neon-green gloves.
