Can You Spare a Ticket?

Seahawks backup tight end Will Heller and Redskins backup cornerback Leigh Torrence both played for Marist High, a Catholic school in Atlanta. Heller procured tickets to yesterday's game for Torrence's parents, who flew in from Atlanta.

Times in 24 postseason games that Joe Gibbs has been shut out in the first half. Washington trailed Seattle 10-0 yesterday at halftime. The last time the Redskins failed to score in the first half of a playoff game was during a 17-0 loss to the Giants in 1987.

Coming On Strong

Rookie DE Chris Wilson continued his late-season surge by recording his fifth sack of the season late in the first half. It was the rookie's third sack in two weeks, after recording only two in Washington's first 15 games. It also tied him for second on the team in that category with Marcus Washington.
