Pointless
Yesterday was the second time this season the Redskins entered the fourth quarter without a point. The first time came in Washington's blowout loss at New England in October, when the Redskins scored on a Chris Cooley touchdown catch with less three minutes remaining. Yesterday, the Redskins scored on the first play of the fourth quarter.

Risky Business
The latest celebrity jinx a la Jessica Simpson-Tony Romo was in place yesterday when television cameras focused squarely on Tom Cruis e, star of such football-inspired movies as "All the Right Moves" and "Jerry Maguire." Cruise was watching the game with Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, who signed a two-year deal in August 2006 with Cruise/Wagner Productions to cover development.
