Wizards: G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) and C Etan Thomas (heart surgery) remain out. . . . The starting unit of Antonio Daniels, DeShawn Stevenson, Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison and Brendan Haywood was 11-7 this season entering last night's game.

Celtics: G Rajon Rondo (back bruise) did not play. The second-year player was injured during Friday's win at New Jersey. Tony Allen, a shooting guard, started in Rondo's place. The only other true point guard on the roster is rookie Gabe Pruitt, who was a teammate of Wizards rookie Nick Young at USC.
