Wizards: G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) and C Etan Thomas (heart surgery) remain out. . . . G Antonio Daniels, who sat out Tuesday's loss at New York to rest his sore right knee and did not practice Thursday, started last night. The team improved to 15-7 with Daniels as a starter.
Knicks: G Stephon Marbury did not play (ankle) and could be out for the remainder of the season. C Jerome James (knee), C Randolph Morris and Wilson Chandler also were inactive.
