PERSONNEL DEPT.

Wizards: G Gilbert Arenas believes he could return to action sometime after the all-star break (Feb. 15-18). C Etan Thomas has not yet been cleared to practice, but said he plans on returning as soon as doctors clear him for contact work. Neither player made the trip.

Bucks: G Michael Redd (left knee strain) and F Charlie Villanueva (lower back strain) were late scratches. Royal Ivey started in place of Redd. G Desmond Mason (left thumb) missed his 20th straight game and expects to return by Saturday.
