PERSONNEL DEPT.

Wizards: F Caron Butler (left hip flexor strain) missed his second straight game and is day-to-day. G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) and C Etan Thomas (heart surgery) remain out. Arenas believes he can return to action sometime after the all-star break (Feb. 14-18). Thomas has not yet been cleared to practice but said he plans to return as soon as doctors clear him for contact work. F Andray Blatche made his second straight start in place of Butler.
