Wizards: F Caron Butler (left hip flexor strain) has missed three straight games and will be a game-time decision. G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) believes he could return after the all-star break (Feb. 14-18).

Lakers: F-C Andrew Bynum (left knee) and F Trevor Ariza (fractured right foot) remain out and are not with the team. . . . F-C Pau Gasol, who was acquired from Memphis in a trade on Friday, is expected to join the team this morning. As of yesterday afternoon, it was not known whether Gasol would make his debut today against the Wizards.
