Candace Parker was helped off the court after hyperextending her knee during No. 2 Tennessee's 87-69 win over Mississippi State last night in Starkville, Miss.

The two-time all-American hurt her left knee while chasing a loose ball under the Lady Vols' basket with 3 minutes 9 seconds left in the game. Parker finished with a season-low 11 points.

She was evaluated by the team's trainer and Mississippi State's team physician and they said her knee was "solid." She will be listed as day-to-day going into Monday's game against No. 7 Rutgers.

Alexis Hornbuckle and Shannon Bobbitt scored 16 points each and the Lady Vols won their 11th in a row despite one of their poorest overall performances of the season.

Tennessee (21-2, 8-0 Southeastern Conference) trailed at halftime for the first time this season as it struggled to find a rhythm against the collapsing defense of the Lady Bulldogs (14-9, 2-6).

¿ OLD DOMINION 71, GEORGE MASON 61: TJ Jordan and Megan Pym each scored 14 points, and the No. 13 Lady Monarchs withstood a late run at Patriot Center.

Old Dominion (19-3, 10-0 Colonial Athletic Association) had a 22-point lead with five minutes left, but went scoreless for nearly 4 1/2 minutes as George Mason (8-13, 2-8) scored 14 straight points.

ODU improved to 42-0 against the Patriots. The Lady Monarchs are on a 13-game winning streak and have won 16 of their last 17.

The Patriots' Lateisha Wade picked up her first career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.

¿ NORTH CAROLINA 79, CLEMSON 47: Cetera DeGraffenreid scored 20 points to help give Coach Sylvia Hatchell her 500th victory with the No. 3 Tar Heels (21-2, 8-0 ACC). The visiting Lady Tigers fell to 10-14, 2-6.
