ONE-SIDED RIVALRY: Following a 72-64 loss at Old Dominion on Saturday that ended their three-game winning streak, the Patriots will attempt to beat the Tigers for the 12th consecutive time in league play. Mason, which defeated Towson by nine last month at Patriot Center, is tied for second place in the CAA with William & Mary, two games behind Virginia Commonwealth. Senior G-F Folarin Campbell was named CAA co-player of the week after averaging 26.5 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in two games. The Tigers have lost three straight, all on the road, but are 8-3 at home.

FLYING HIGH: The Eagles have won three straight to seize sole possession of first place for the first time in four years and look to end an eight-game losing streak to the Bison. On Sunday, AU shot a season-best 61 percent to defeat Lehigh. Junior G Garrison Carr has made 98 three-pointers, one shy of the Patriot League season record, and is tied for fourth in the nation in three-pointers made per game (4.1). He also is shooting 86 percent from the free throw line and averaging 17.9 points. Senior G John Griffin is contributing 13.8 points per game for the Bison, who have lost three of four.

STILL STRUGGLING: The Colonials are 0-9 on the road but face a team that scored only 20 points against them -- the fewest since the shot clock was introduced in the 1985-86 season -- during last month's meeting at Smith Center. GW's upset of Dayton on Saturday was its first victory since the win over the Billikens, who have rebounded to win four of their past eight, with two losses coming in overtime.
