Wizards: F Caron Butler (strained left hip flexor) missed his sixth straight game. PG Antonio Daniels (right ankle) missed two straight games but returned last night . . .
G Gilbert Arenas (left knee) and C Etan Thomas (heart surgery) remain out. . . .
Third-year F-C Andray Blatche made his ninth start of the season in place of Butler against the Clippers. Blatche entered the game averaging 13.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in eight games as a starter this season.
Clippers: F Elton Brand (ruptured Achilles' tendon), PG Shaun Livingston (knee) and F Paul Davis (knee) are out for the season.
