Pastina in Chicken Broth

1 main-course serving

Bring 2 cups chicken broth to a boil in a small pot, then reduce the heat and slowly add 1/3 to 1/2 cup pastina : small pasta such as shells, tubettini (little tubes) or stelline (little stars). Cook until the pasta is done (5 to 10 minutes, depending on the pasta shape and brand). Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with lots of freshly grated Parmesan cheese . For an extra treat, stir in some cubed mozzarella cheese .
