Delaware at George Mason

When:9 p.m.Where:Patriot Center.Records:Blue Hens 11-14, 8-7 CAA; Patriots 18-8, 10-5.Radio:WTEM (980 AM).

BYE IN SIGHT: The Patriots will need to rebound from their first home loss of the season -- a last-second defeat to UNC Wilmington on Saturday -- to bolster their chances of finishing in the top four and earning a first-round bye in the CAA tournament. With three league games remaining, Mason is tied for second with UNCW (which holds the tiebreaker) and one game ahead of Old Dominion and William & Mary. In the first meeting, the Blue Hens overcame a 19-point deficit at home to win in overtime, 73-68. The Patriots have beaten Delaware five consecutive times in Fairfax.

Army at American

When:7:30 p.m.Where:Bender Arena.Records:Black Knights 11-13, 4-6 Patriot; Eagles 16-10, 8-3.Radio:WWRC (1260 AM).

ROLLING: The first-place Eagles have won five straight, their longest streak in regular season conference play since joining the Patriot League in 2001. They are 1 1/2 games ahead of Navy and, with a victory tonight, would sweep the season series with Army for the sixth time in seven years. The Black Knights are 0-7 at Bender and dropped a 66-53 decision to AU at West Point last month. During the winning streak, Eagles junior G Garrison Carr has averaged 24.8 points while shooting 54.7 percent overall and 49.1 on three-pointers.

TWO HOT: The Midshipmen, who have won three straight to move above .500 for the first time since the season opener, are seeking to sweep the Crusaders for the first time in eight years and end a seven-game home losing streak to them. Navy has not won four consecutive league games since 2001. Senior G Greg Sprink is averaging a league-best 21.2 points and contributing 24.3 in conference games. Holy Cross, the Patriot's preseason favorite, has won three in a row and five of seven.

Saint Louis Women at George Washington

When:7 p.m.Where:Smith Center.Records:Billikens 10-15, 5-5 Atlantic 10; No. 17 Colonials 20-5, 8-2.

OOPS: A long road trip combined with a virus running rampant through the team led to an unexpected result this past weekend. The Colonials' 63-60 defeat at St. Bonaventure, their first loss to the Bonnies in 19 years, dropped them into a three-way tie for first place in the Atlantic 10 with Temple and Xavier. The Owls (15-11, 8-2) hold the edge for the regular season title because they beat GW this season.

NO CONTEST: The Colonials have played Saint Louis just twice, winning easily both times. Their average margin of victory in those games was 27.5 points.

PACK THE HOUSE: With two home games remaining, GW is on the verge of setting a single-season attendance record. The Colonials are averaging 1,909 fans per game, nearly 300 more fans per game than their previous best set in the 1995-96 season.
