The county budget proposed for the upcoming fiscal year will be presented to the Fairfax Board of Supervisors at 10 a.m. Monday during the regularly scheduled meeting in the board auditorium of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy.

The presentation also will air at 9 p.m. Feb. 29 and March 7. And it will air as part of the Board of Supervisors' replays at 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. March 1 and will be available as video-on-demand at http:/
A supervisors' budget workshop has been scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 at the Laurel Hill Golf Club, 8701 Laurel Crest Dr., Lorton. Budget committee meetings are scheduled for 1 p.m. March 28 and 3 p.m. April 18 in the government center.
Public hearings on the fiscal plan have been set for 7 p.m. March 31 and April 1 and 2. The school board presentation to the supervisors is set for 6 p.m. April 1. All public hearings will be in the government center's board auditorium.

The markup is set for 10 a.m. April 21 and the formal adoption of the budget for 10 a.m. April 28, during the regular board meeting, both in the board auditorium.
Staff from the county's Department of Management and Budget will be available to speak about the budget to civic organizations, homeowners associations and community groups.
