In this week's Wisconsin Republican primary, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee and Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) split those voters who identified themselves as Protestant or "other Christian" and those who said they attend religious services weekly. But Huckabee fared much better among those who said they were "born again."
| Huckabee | McCain | |
| Protestant/Other Christian | 45 | 48 |
| Catholic | 26 | 67 |
| Evangelical or "born again" Christian -- yes | 56 | 36 |
| Evangelical or "born again" Christian -- no | 24 | 67 |
| Attend religious services weekly | 47 | 46 |
| Attend religious services occasionally | 26 | 66 |
